YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas

YW will support the goals of the HomeBuyer’s Club through YW Financial Empowerment – an innovative financial education and asset-building program that helps low-income individuals and families find paths to prosperity through financial training, 1:1 coaching, budgeting tools, and matched-savings (IDAs).

YW will offer Individual Development Accounts, or IDAs, to interested and qualifying participants enrolled in the HomeBuyer’s Club. IDAs are matched savings accounts designed to help low-income families save and accumulate financial assets–homes, businesses, education. Participants must meet, and maintain, all IDA eligibility requirements. Accounts are available contingent on funding availability.
