HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE?
First, your household income must be under 80% of the Adjusted Median Family Income as published by HUD.
Current Income Limits Are:
- $37,800 – for 1 person household
- $43,200 – for 2 person household
- $48,600 – for 3 person household
- $54,000 – for 4 person household
- $58,350 – for 5 person household
- $62,650 – for 6 person household
The city of Dallas provides $20,000 to homebuyers under 80% of Adjust Median Family Income for principal reduction, down payment, and closing costs when purchasing a home that is constructed by one of the Dallas Home Connection’s nonprofit building partners.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERSHIP?
Yes, in order to become a member and receive the benefits of membership, you will need to have a minimum credit score of 550; have household income of at least $25,000 and pay a one-time $25 fee (payable by cash or debit/credit card at the time of the initial consultation) to cover the cost of your initial credit report.
